“And the gospel must first be published among all nations” Mark 13:10.
“We are not to make less prominent the special truths that have separated us from the world, and made us what we are; for they are fraught with eternal interests. God has given us light in regard to the things that are now taking place in the last remnant of time, and with pen and voice we are to proclaim the truth to the world, not in a tame, spiritless way, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power of God” (Evangelism, 121).
We are told through Divine Inspiration that, during the closing work, the last message of mercy must be “published” to the world. For the glory and honor of God, we, together with individuals and churches across America, are currently engaged in an all-out campaign to get this message out. We believe the times demand it, and we must have a sense of ugency in obeying this command from heaven. We are using every form of media at our disposal to sound the alarm, to warn of the terrible crisis that is coming and most importantly, how we can prepare to meet it. There is no quesiton that we are living in a critical point of earth’s history. We must either obey God’s call to action or we ourselves will face the prospect of being left out when God pours out His Spirit during the final work.
“The Lord gives a special truth for the people in an emergency. Who dare refuse to publish it? He commands His servants to present the last invitation of mercy to the world. They cannot remain silent, except at the peril of their souls” (Great Controversy, 609).
Our publications, books and newspaper ads are reaching the masses every month. The literature being distributed is teaching people about God’s end-time message for this hour and warns against the dangers of ignoring the warnings from heaven. The National Sunday Law books and our newspaper ads urge sinners to bring their lives into obedience to God’s commandments and to consecrate themselves to God and Bible truth. This is an arduous campaign, somewhat ambitious, yet the Lord has given us proof that this is the direction He is calling us to travel. The incontrovertible proof is in His own Word: “Our publications are to show that the end of all things is at hand. I am bidden to say to our publishing houses: Lift up the standard; lift it up higher. Proclaim the third angel’s message, that it may be heard by all the world. Let it be seen that ‘here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus’ Revelation 14:12. Let our literature give the message as a witness to all the world” (Testimonies, 9:61).
