We believe in Jesus Christ and gratefully acknowledge Him as God, who took the nature of man (Hebrews 2:14-15) to become through His life, death and resurrection the Savior of mankind (Matthew 1:21; Acts 4:12). We are thankful to accept God’s gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23) which because of sin we had lost. This is available to all (John 3:16) through Christ’s pardon and power as we confess our sins (1 John 1:9) and in repentance allow Him to separate us from them (Titus 2:11-15). We encourage all to be adopted into God’s family through baptism by immersion (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:16).

We believe in Jesus Christ and warmly respond to God’s invitation to assemble together for worship (Hebrews 10:25). The special day of worship, the Sabbath, created by God especially for man (Mark 2:27-28) at the beginning of this world (Genesis  2:1-3), is the seventh day (Exodus 20:8-11), Saturday. This Sabbath day, the Lord’s day (Matthew 12:8), is the only day of the week spoken of as holy in the Bible. We focus on this day as our Creator’s sign that we are His people (Ezekiel 20:12, 20). Bible prophecy predicted the Sabbath would be changed (Daniel 7:25) in the final drama between true and false worship. This memorial will continue to be observed in heaven above and in the earth made new (Isaiah 66:23).

We thank God for the Holy Spirit that continues to communicate prophetic understanding. We believe that this prophetic gift is manifest right up to the time of the coming of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13; Revelation 12:17; 19:10).

We believe in Jesus Christ and solemnly realize that now, before His soon return, is a time of true worship (John 4:24), gospel-proclaiming (Matthew 24:14) and judgment (Revelation 14:6-7). The urgency of delivering this message is portrayed in Scripture by three flying angels (Revelation 14:8-11; 18:1-8) who expose the dangers of false worship on the day of “the sun” (Ezekiel 8:16).

We believe that Jesus Christ is represented in the Old Testament sanctuary services (Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers). He was the Lamb (John 1:29) without blemish (1 Peter 1:18-19) that vividly pointed forward to His sacrifice on the cross (1 Corinthian 5:7). He has now become our great High Priest and intercedes for us in the heavenly sanctuary  (Hebrews 8:1-5) and officiates in the final judgment (Hebrews 9:26-28).

We believe Christ’s atoning ministry now brings us, through prayer, into the very presence of God the Father in the Most Holy Place in the heavenly sanctuary (Hebrews 4:14-16). We rejoice that Divinity has united the human family with Himself (2 Peter 1:3-4) in an unbreakable tie of love (Romans 8:35-39).

We believe in Jesus Christ and joyfully look forward to His soon return (John 14:1-3; Matthew 24:27). His second coming will be seen by all people (Revelation 1:7). When Jesus comes those sleeping in Christ will be resurrected (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52) to live eternally with all the rest of the human family who have accepted regeneration (2 Corinthians 5:17) through the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:11). Following a thousand years in heaven there will be a literal cleansing by fire of this planet (Revelation 20:5-6, 12) after which we will enjoy life in a city without pain, sorrow or death. Sin will be utterly destroyed (Nahum 1:9) and forgotten (Revelation 21:1-2, 4). We are promised a home where we can live with Him forever (Isaiah 65:21) and experience never-ending joy (Psalm 16:11).

We believe in Jesus Christ and confidently accept the entire Bible as the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16), through which the Holy Spirit convicts us of our need and leads us to Christ for repentance (John 16:7-15) and release from sin (Luke 24:46-47). It is our purpose to live a life consistent with the God-given standard in His Ten Commandments of love (Exodus 20:1-17).

We believe that through Christ we can keep His commandments (John 14:15; 1 John 5:3). Through the redeeming power of Christ all things are possible (Philippians 4:13; Jude 24).

We believe that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19) and members of the body of Christ (verse 15), therefore we must glorify God with our bodies (verse 20). This all means it is God’s will that we practice good health habits  (3 John 1:2).

We believe in Jesus Christ and are humbled at the enormity of His victory in the great controversy for the control of this world (Matthew 4:8-10; Revelation 12:10-12). It becomes very personal to each of us as we realize that, because Christ came, we are not hostages of Satan, unable to make a choice. Instead, we are individually free (Luke 4:18-21) to choose who will be Lord of our life. Daily we choose Christ and accept the Holy Spirit’s power to renounce and overcome all sin. Then, with the covering of His forgiveness (Zechariah 3:4-7; 4:6), we can face the judgment and life itself now and in the future, unafraid (Psalm 23:4). We praise Him!
